But now Sims 3 won't install. It starts installing just fine, then get to The Sims 3 Caches Sunset Valley.objectCache and just sits there and sits.

There's nothing wrong with the DVD drive, all our other CD (Sims 2) and DVD works on the drive. This is actually my 2nd time installing this game.

I have installed this game when I first bought it and un-installed it due to a crash and couple years later I am trying to re-install it again but I am getting stuck at susetvalley.objectcache. I don't recall having this problem during my first Sims 3 installation. I have tried redeeming my game at Origin but it says the serial code has already been used but this too, I don't remember using it on origin ever T_T I know this question has been asked many times but I could not find any updated answers. If someone who faced this issue recently and have resolved it, help will be appreciated!!
