The problem is that the bandwidth is horrendous. No matter how close I am to the router, it literally takes minutes to load a webpage. Network status shows a great connection but any attempt to load a webpage or download something is met with speeds that would be considered bad on dial-up.
I attempted to download an updated driver from the Encore site and had the same results. Another user having the same issue (over at Newegg) was able to get a hold of Encore support and they provided him with an updated driver which seemed to solve his issue. I have tried several times to contact their support, by email and phone with zero luck.
Their operator told me that the system the support team (team? HA!) uses has been down and should be up 'tomorrow'. I laughed and started looking for another adapter to purchase.
